Patient allergy register

The Intellia Electronic Health Record includes a comprehensive allergy register stored directly in the patient’s medical record, allowing doctors to manage allergy information within a dedicated allergy section of the patient record.

The allergy register allows clinicians to document allergenic substances, reaction types, severity, and criticality levels.
When adding a new allergy entry, healthcare professionals select the appropriate severity and criticality values.
The system also supports recording the substance responsible for the allergy and the observed reaction.
Clinicians can optionally specify the onset of the allergic reaction and add clinical comments.

Once saved, the allergy information immediately becomes part of the patient’s electronic health record.
All registered allergic reactions are clearly flagged for the doctor within the patient record to increase clinical awareness. This automatic flagging helps prevent adverse reactions and supports safer clinical decisions.
Healthcare professionals can easily edit allergy entries or delete incorrectly entered information.

The patient allergy register in Intellia EHR supports accuracy, continuity of care, and patient safety across clinical workflows.
