Diagnoses and prescriptions
Intellia EHR provides robust tools for managing diagnoses and prescriptions within clinical workflows. By default, the system uses the ICD-11 classification for coding diagnoses, ensuring alignment with the latest international standards. If needed, ICD-10 can also be configured upon request to accommodate specific institutional requirements.
For medication management, the system enables prescribing drugs from an internal catalog, which helps maintain consistency and safety. Additionally, doctors have the flexibility to enter prescriptions in free-text form when necessary, such as for compounded medications or special cases.
Beyond coded diagnoses, physicians can add clinical diagnoses as free-text descriptions. These allow doctors to capture the full clinical context and nuances of a patient’s condition that sometimes may not be fully represented by standardized codes.
Intellia EHR also supports creating prescriptions for diagnostic procedures, laboratory investigations, and medical procedures. This integrated approach facilitates comprehensive patient care, streamlines documentation, and ensures all aspects of treatment and diagnostics are properly recorded and tracked within the patient’s electronic health record.
