Staff schedule management

The Intellia Electronic Health Record platform offers a flexible system for managing staff schedules, generated from predefined templates. Manager can create templates for entire departments or individual employees, adapting to organizational needs.

Schedules are generated by selecting the branch, department, and employee, then applying the chosen template. The system automatically pre-fills relevant information to streamline schedule creation. Manager can define the schedule’s start date and the duration of each cycle. Intellia EHR supports autogeneration, automatically creating new schedules before the current cycle ends. Autogeneration settings allow clinic manager to control how far new schedules are prepared in advance. Schedules can also be generated manually for a single cycle without automation.

Once a schedule is published, patient visits can be booked for specific available time slots.
Individual time slots can be marked as available, blocked, or canceled to prevent scheduling conflicts. Unavailable or canceled slots are clearly indicated in the system for staff and receptionists. Manager can edit or remove schedule entries as needed to maintain accuracy.

Schedules can be cleared for a defined period while preserving other entries. All changes are saved in the employee record for clarity and transparency. Template-based and automated scheduling enhances workforce planning, optimizes staff utilization, and supports efficient patient care.
