Virtual reception

Intellia EHR includes a smart Virtual Reception feature, also known as the Virtual Waiting Room, designed to simplify patient check-in and front-desk operations. It provides a real-time list of all patients scheduled for visits on a given day, sorted by time, department, and assigned specialist.

When a patient arrives at the clinic, the receptionist quickly identifies them and performs a one-click check-in directly from the waiting room interface. This instantly notifies the medical staff that the patient is ready to be seen.

In addition to check-in, the receptionist can easily update or complete the patient’s profile, such as contact details, emergency contacts, or insurance information. The system also supports digital handling of administrative documents, including the collection and signing of patient consents for the processing of personal data, ensuring full compliance with privacy regulations.

The Virtual Reception reduces waiting times, improves accuracy, and streamlines patient flow through the clinic. It allows front-desk staff to manage daily operations efficiently while delivering a professional and organized patient experience from the moment of arrival.
